Growing up in Sacramento, I began swimming for EGAC when I was 13 under the care of Coach Nolan Rogers. There I learned the impact swimming can have on someone, teaching me the importance of hard work, perseverance, and camaraderie. After graduating from Franklin High School, I attended Sac City College, where I competed on the swim team for two years. I am now attending Sac State, where I am studying English education. For the past four years, I have been coaching for Franklin High School and the Elk Grove Piranhas. During this time, I have helped many swimmers reach Meet of Champions (MOC) and section qualifying times. As I coach these swimmers, I hope they will have fun swimming as they grow and improve in the sport.
