Last night, Coach Eddie informed his group that he will be stepping away from coaching. This move will be made once the long course season has wrapped up.
I can’t thank Eddie enough for how much he has done for EGAC, and myself personally. I will miss working with him, and sharing a deck with him daily. I look forward to coaching, talking, and laughing with him every day. He may no longer be my coworker, but I will always consider him my friend.
In a sport where sometimes people’s hearts aren’t in it for the right reason, Coach Eddie has always made his number one priority the kids. He cares about their swimming, and most importantly how they are growing up and developing as humans, physically and mentally. I encourage everyone to enjoy the time you have with him over the next few months. Let’s finish out this long course season with a bang, and send Eddie off the right way.
