NEVER SETTLE

More than just an idea or a saying. This was the motto of the club's former head coach, Matt Casto. He believed in it so much that he had it tattooed on his chest. Matt Casto believed every athlete had potential if they worked hard and NEVER SETTLED for less than their absolute best. His infectious enthusiasm for life and love for the sport inspired many young athletes until his sudden death from heart failure.

EGAC is part of Matt's legacy. He loved this team and that love lives on in every race and in every athlete. Many of our swimmers, families, and coaches knew Matt personally. His impact is still felt throughout this club. At EGAC, we hope to instill in your athlete that they should never settle.
