Officials Recognition Program

Officials are a cornerstone of the EGAC Family. The unsung heroes that ensure that our swimmers can participate in meets and ensure that they are smoothly run.

  • Each team provides a number of officials  to a meet according to the number of their swimmers.

  • There are meets where they are divided by age groups (12 & under in one session,  13 & over in another).

  • Officials normally officiate in the session their swimmers are in.

  • Those Teams who have not provided a sufficient number of Officials shall have ALL of their Swimmers treated as "time only" in all respects for the session. Neither the athletes nor the Team shall be eligible for awards.

In order to recognize our officials for their hardworking and important contributions, the EGAC Board would like to recognize officials with gifts for participating in Meets as officials. The goal of this program is to encourage more parents to engage as officials and help support the team.

We will recognize officials at the following officiating tiers below

6 Sessions - USA Swimming Cap

15 Sessions - Polo Shirt

30 Sessions - 50 fit Card

45 Sessions - Jacket

60 Sessions - 75 Gift Card

80 Sessions - 75 Gift Card and Team Gift

100 Sessions - 100 Gift Card and Recognition in News Letter

Every 20 sessions After - 100 Gift Card
